What Can You Get For £1 Million In London? A House!

Have you ever thought, “Wow, London seems really cool. I wish I lived there!”?

If so, why don’t you go ahead and have a look at this site, keeping in mind the exchange rate is generally around $1.50 to the pound. Also, England is a small island so when you think of the average house price as being about $700,000 don’t imagine a spacious home with a yard. From what I can tell, many homes in London (and even the rest of the country) use their front “yard” as a place to park their car.

If you want to live somewhere like Wimbledon and you want to buy a home that’s not attached to someone else’s and that has a proper place to park your car you’ll be paying £1 million + on average.

I don’t mean to make England sound bad because of this. It’s not their fault they don’t have any space. They should have taken over France long ago.

Property is disgustingly expensive in the UK. I’m actually a little surprised that the average isn’t higher than that! xx

Just buy the house with another couple. Heh.

  3. Well, the British did control large swaths of France a while ago, but that uppity teenager, Joan, pitched a fit.

What are your thoughts?
