I don’t know how she does it.

I’m a blogging machine tonight. I figured I’d post a couple bad pictures of me to balance out the picture of Adrian I just posted.

Instead of a movie starring Sarah Jessica Parker that movie should have been about me and why I’m plagued with constantly taking pictures like this:

Enjoy!

  1. Ha, these are hilarious. I have a huge collection of crazy pictures of myself. Maybe some day I’ll be bold enough to post some:)

This is totally random, but I have a question. When you bought the domain for your blog, did you have to start from scratch or how did that work? I have no clue how to build a website, but I want to buy the domain. Any advice?

    • Definitely post some!!!

About the domain, it depends on what you want. If you just want your own domain, that’s really easy and cheap. About $20 I think, and it’s good for a year. Nothing about your site will change, and anyone who links to you will be automatically redirected to the URL you purchased so you don’t even have to worry about that. To do this, on your dashboard go to the upgrades tab on the left and from there it will prompt you to purchase a URL or purchase the CSS/Custom Design upgrade (which I’ve also done.) Let me know later if you have any questions about that. I’d be glad to help!

If you want to disconnect from WordPress and self-host, that’s a bit more complicated because you have to install WordPress software (wordpress.org) and maintain all the updates on your own. Also, if you don’t know how to do it you can pay someone to switch your content over but it’s like $100 I think. I don’t do this, because I can’t be bothered at this point and I just don’t see any benefit right now to doing that.

      I hope that helps!

    • I just checked, and it’s now under the “Store” tab so just click on “domains,” and you can easily add what you want there.

      • Awesome! That’s exactly what I needed to know. I don’t want to disconnect from WordPress, just wanted to make sure that I wouldn’t have to start from scratch if I purchased the URL. I really suck at this sort of thing, so thanks for helping me out! 🙂
